Forums - Gaming Discussion - Should Animal Crossing receive the BotW treatment?

By that, I am wondering if you think they should make big changes to the game, whether if it'd be in the AI, overworld, content, etc.

Personally, it'd be nice to see them add more stuff to do- a bigger role throughout the game would be cool too. I checked my 3DS, and have 150 hours in Animal Crossing. Every hour was relaxing, so anything they release will probably be an additional 100-200 hour stress reliever for me.

I would expect a lot of content from this due to it being on the Switch (as powerful as the Wii U)

If they contnue the Mayor thing, I want them to allow us to build more than 300 stuff. I forgot what was the limit in New Leaf but that wasn't enough.

Pocky Lover Boy!

My god, plucking weeds would take forever.

Though on the bright side, there's no excuses for animals to leave your game now. With a world that big, I expect multiple towns to visit with everyone that's ever left me.

One change i would appreciate is the camera, that round camera simulating a "little world" was annoying to me when i first played new leaf, same to the zoom, it's too zoomed in, i wish i could choose the zoom.

A level of refresh and revamping akin to Zelda Breath of the Wild or Pokemon Sun and Moon could be interesting....though I admit I am not sure what it would look like.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

I want a full fledged global political system where we either of these two options:

1) We each get our own town that we are mayors of, but there are massive cities (city state) that we can visit and become "Governor" there if elected by other mayors (players).

2) We live in towns with computers and people and we have to actually get enough votes to win mayor or higher office.

I want a ton of expansion on things you can do in the game and to make the ultimate point of the game to be more than just collecting stuff and getting the biggest house.

I would like them to make it into a video game...

They should give it the Stardew Valley treatment.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

I wouldn't mind either way, though if they add some RPG elements to the game, then that would be neat
