I upgraded for the PS4Pro, so no reason for Scorpio.

Switch then.

Scorpio. I'm a hardware enthusiast. Why settle for less than the best?

The Xbox Scorpio is in a weird place. Due to Microsoft promising that the Scorpio will not be getting any games that are unobtainable on the Xbox One; it is being held back from its full potential. The PS4 Pro for example doesn't have as dramatic updates to its hardware, whereas the Scorpio could be a new console if Microsoft released it as such and made new games specifically for it. However, due to Microsoft's promise, the Scorpio will be held back by the Xbox One.

Therefore, if one were to pick up an Xbox, the Xbox One S is likely the best option. Those who want bigger specs will likely opt to get a gaming PC.

The Nintendo Switch on the other hand is Nintendo's most powerful home console and handheld to date. If you already have a PS4 and/or gaming PC, the Switch definitely looks like a better choice due to its exclusive library and portability factor. That is just my two cents anyway.

Scorpio, that's easy

Microsoft is dead in the water in regards to exclusives.  This is easy, Switch.  And Scorpio wont be $400.

That's worth more than two cents. I can't fault anybody who chooses the Scorpio, but I agree with almost everything you say. I'd go with the Switch too.

If I had to choose right now, I'd choose the Super Nintendo Wii (aka Nintendo Switch). I'm not excited about any other console in existence or soon to be in existence at this point, and PS4 was my favorite. The Switch pretty much has all of the good stuff from the Wii, plus even more powerful features and has the power to back it up.

Neither right now. Not enough good exclusive RPGs for either system.

I'm not quite sure I understand.

If I can't have a gaming PC or a PS4 and the vanilla Xbox is off the table? Scorpio for sure. That is, unless Nintendo announces at E3 that the Switch will get all upcoming multi-platform games (not holding my breath for that).

Third party > everyone's first party.

Now, if I CAN have a gaming PC or PS4? The Switch. I don't think I need to explain that.
