Sony has revealed that the May 2017 PlayStation Plus free games include Tales From the Borderlands for PlayStation 4, Blood Knights for PlayStation 3, Laser Disco Defenders for PS4 and PlayStation Vita, and more. In Europe you’ll also find Alienation for PS4, while North America gets Abzu instead.
Answering a question on the PlayStation Blog about how North America is getting Abzu instead of Alienation, PlayStation Europe Social Media Manager Eric Whelan said, “There are regional differences from time to time!”
Here’s the games both leaving and entering the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection next week on Tuesday, May 2, in North America and Europe:
Leaving the Instant Game Collection
- 10 Second Ninja X (PS4, PS Vita)
- Curses ‘n Chaos (PS4, PS Vita)
- Drawn to Death (PS4)
- Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime (PS4)
- Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom (PS3)
- Alien Rage (PS3)
Entering the Instant Game Collection
- Abzu (PS4) – North America only
- Alienation (PS4) – Europe only
- Tales From the Borderlands (PS4)
- Laser Disco Defenders (PS4, PS Vita)
- Type: Rider (PS4, PS Vita)

If you live in North America, the latest wave of PlayStation Plus Specials includes Final Fantasy XIV, Grand Theft Auto V, DiRT Rally, Destiny: The Collection, Rocket League, Mortal Kombat XL, Skullgirls 2nd Encore, and more.
Looks pretty good to me. I'll add trailers for each game if I can find them in a bit.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
