My PS4 15K was very close (well if not include the pro it is spot on).

Nice numbers for Switch! It's super consitent these last few weeks. Hopefully it'll get a big shipment for the next two weeks with MK8D+golden week. I'm hoping for a 100k+ and an 80k+ shipment respectively.

So, has anyone got 3DS numbers for me? Is it up or down yoy? Regardless nintendos strategy of having longtime 3DS/Vita owners upgrade while selling 2DS/3DS to the lower market segment seems to work out in japan.

PS4 will be fine. It's up yoy and this is just the pre-golden week lull. It's gotten a stellar lineup of exeptionally good games in the past months. Nioh, Horizon and Nier should all help to keep the baseline up.

Japanese dont like Zelda? You do realize that the game is at 560 k right now and it keeps selling more than 30k weekly, right?

Anyways, its a combination of factors. The protable nature of the hardware, killer games like Zelda, smaller yet desirable games like bomberman and Blaster Master Zero(and for some odd reason 1-2 Switch), and promise of great games in the future like Splatoon 2.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

but it is true, Zelda isn't as big as Mario in Japan. That 500k in switch is already big for Japan on its early weeks. I don't think Switch sales would increase if the stock wouldn't even increase though.

Splatoon 2 for sure would be big in Japan.

They love handhelds... and they love party games.... 1,2-switch is probably alot of what its being used for.

Zelda and 1,2-switch.

These Zelda sales are very exciting. For comparison, Twilight Princess on the Wii sold 0.60 million and Skyward Sword sold 0.38 million.  WIth time, Breath of the WIid will become one of the best selling Zelda games in Japan. The big question is... will it hit 1 million?

Switch and Zelda don't stop being impressive, their sales are incredibly stable. MK8 DX will take the Switch to the skies.
Poor PS4, it's even below the 3DS. And poor Parappa the Rapper...
Nier is holding so well, yaaassssss.
