I'm sure this has probably been asked several dozen times, but Sony, in their 2016 financial forecast, stated they were expecting PS4 sales to surpass 60 million units sold by April 2017. I haven't seen anything on whether it happened or not, hence why I'm asking. Sony has been pretty conservative on their PS4 forecasts and seem to always sell more than they predict.

Yeap, look for new numbers on April 28th, 2017. We will have revenue, profits, and shipments.

Shipments were at 57.1m as of the end of 2016, so 60m by now is an almost certainty.
60m by March 31st (as forecast) is likely met, if not it'll be extremely close.

Shipped, most likely. It's probably is closer to 58M soldthrough, now.

Im hope that ends up happending.
What does it matter to anyone here if they sold 59 or 61 or any number at all? And by April 1st or May 6th or Easter Sunday? It matters not one lick.
