This. I am very much looking forward to the modding community that I hope will spring up around this.

All I want is no weapon degradation and no slippery cliffs. Maybe infinite stamina but that's optional. Then I'll finally be able to enjoy the game.

In some respects, I like the weapon degradation. I like tossing my weapon at an enemy and watch it shatter as my enemy falls away in defeat. At the same time, I like having options so there should be an option to convert temporary weapons into permanent ones if one so wishes.

Nintendo should of given a New Game+. That disabled weapon degredation. It be a toggleable option. Like the divine beast abilites.

That would defeat the purpose though. To get to new game + you would have to slog through it once. Should've just been a tick in the options menu. But we all know Nintendo hates options menus and freedom of choice.

Would prefer it be an NPC that can upgrade weapons. At a fee of course so I can spend some of my rupees.

The fairies could do it like they upgrade your clothes.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

I would prefer some sort of blacksmith but a fairy doing it is good too.

That's fine too. But that would be an option to play the game differently, i.e. Devil's talk.

Amazing that they've gotten far with so little time.

Will have to give it a try when I get the game..

Looks good. Looks like I'm going to have to go and pick up a copy of Zelda. My Wii U is not hooked up anymore, but if I can play it on PC, why not...

That can already be done. The is a kind of mod released for Cemu (Works like cheat engine but is just for BOTW) it allows you to turn of weapon degradation etc.

However i must warn it does kinda make looking for weapons useless.

You know, there was a time in Zelda where looking for weapons wasn't even part of the game and nobody complained. I am willing to take that risk.
