I think 3DS support will end this year. And it's not like they are supporting it with big games. I think its last major release will be Hey! Pikmin, in July. At least first party wise, I mean.

I wouldn't be surprised if the next Pokemon comes to 3DS.

I would be surprised. B/W came to DS 2 or 3 months after 3DS launched in the west (in Japan it came before 3DS launched). But since Switch was supposed to launch last holiday and ended up being delayed to 2017, that means Sun/Moon is already the "cross gen" game, I mean... the game to launch near the newer gen console. To release a Pokémon game 9 months after a new console on an old one would be something totally new (and totally stupid). I don't think they'll do it. But I know what you mean... Gamefreak can be a... freak (sometimes).



Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I meant B2W2, sorry. I switched their names. But anyway, the game came out in 2010  in Japan, meaning it had a localisation problem, which is not a problem these days since Pokémon releases simultaneously worldwide.

The bad press seems to have hit Mass Effect hard. 450k first week compared to over a million for ME3.
