Forums - General Discussion - Best Age Period of Your Life?

The "What do you miss about the 90's" thread made me want to make this poll. Wondering what age-range you guys have the most fond memories about in your lives?

20-22 years old. Best years of my life. Old enough to do everything, but not old enough to be limited by responsibility... That was so long ago u_u

My childhood. Starting with middle school my life has been pretty crappy.

hopefully things will get better for you!

Well I'm only 20 atm. But I'd say my happiest was when I was 7-9yrs old. It was before FB, YT, and everything else took over and the world still felt mystical in a way. I lived in the countryside of Texas at the time, my place had a field, a small lake, and a wooded area. My neighbors place was covered in forest and they were making a mote for their house so when they did construction of it made the place look like a canyon, it was like a 13ft tall canyon, but for a kid its friggin awesome XD I was always exploring, hunting, fishing, etc back then

21 at the moment

But 8-13 was pretty freaking amazing.

Ranking my life in segments

1. Present (28-32)
2. College (18-22)
3. Early Adulthood (23-27)
4. Childhood (8-12)
5. Young Child (1-7)
6. Teenager (13-17)

Anyone who tells me "High School are the best years of your life" had a very different life than me. Childhood was fun and simple, innocent, and adulthood has been liberating and joyous. Teenage years were terrible, I remember struggling to connect with peers, working and studying all the time, and being unhappy. I'd say to any younger members that the boogie man of the "real world" can be paradise for those of us that hated the culture of high school.
