I miss the days before everyone had a cell phone and the internet.

I miss the days where girls wore minimal make up. Half the girls in my work place wear a combination off or all the below :

1. Fake tan
2. Fake eyelashes
3. Have lip jobs
4. Wear lip products to make lips look much bigger
5. Either have no eyebrows (pencilled in) or Stupidly thin ones that look drawn in.
6. Have no pores due to excessive make up
7. Botox on forehead
8. Excessively pout to highlight fake lips and or shaded in cheekbones

Can only say I've seen #1 and #5 but both of those look bad as is. Can only imagine someone with all of those would just look ugly as fuck!

I didn't know half the shit women do to themselves these days until I started my new job. A lot of women are getting botox done to change the eye shape a little.

They are either getting minor lip jobs done or using a particular lip product that gives a burning sensation and inflates the lips slightly.

Even the eyelashes, they pay for individual eyelashes to be glued in, so it's hard to tell they are fake.

Yup, those that go too far end up looking like men in drag lol

I feel like fads don't last very long anymore. Back in the 90's there periods of years when everyone everywhere was talking about the Simpsons or Seinfeld or Pokémon. The closest I've experienced recently is Pokémon GO but it only lasted one week.

That's mainly caused by how easy it is to watch something now. Nothings really new anymore. Attention spans/lazyness have gotten bad. Shows can't even have opening themes anymore.

Simpsons, PS1/N64, Rob Zombie, Lunchable Pizza (best things ever).

I think the biggest difference between now and then is the lack of common moments as a society.

I look into the past and would see how Tv shows like Roots, The Day After, Ken Burns Civil War and shows like Friends and Seinfeld would have TV ratings that would put everything to shame now.

By having that you had a common experience, but now everyone is in their own filter bubbles.

Like many people I know dont watch light night comedy due to politics, that used to be a common experience before.

No bills and no real responsibilities.

Good Nintendo

New York rap

R&B (none of this pop crap!)

Aerosmith (Now you're wondering if I'm a black guy or a white guy? lol)

Saturday morning cartoons

The Disney Afternoon

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

That's... not a bad thing!

I hate opening themes. They're just a waste of time, and they're always the same. Worth watching the first time to see what it's like, but after that... they just need a skip button or something on them

There is no first time anymore. That's the problem.
