Forums - Nintendo Discussion - All Nintendo needs to have a great press conference for me (with the switch)

My realistic wish for E3: Footage and info for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Super Mario Odyssey. Maybe Pokemon Stars announcement

My insane wish for E3: Kid Icarus Uprising 2 and Luigi's Mansion 3 announcements

Give me Animal Crossing or give me death!

Oh yeah, we know thats coming. I think they made a 3DS version recently.

Honestly, I just need a game list, videos, and SS. I don't care much about conference hype these days, I'll watch them but they are like, fucking 1-2 hours long with 45 minutes of filler shit.

I would like to hear about the online subscription service, multimedia apps, Virtual Console & My Nintendo integration

Obviously info & gameplay of games set to release in the 2nd half of the year and hopefully some announcements of games coming this year that we dont know about yet.

And another obvious one is getting a pretty good glimpse of what is in store for next year. I dont want them to blow their load and show off everything coming next year but enough to let us know 2018 will have strong support.

One thing I dont want them to announce is games that will release in 2019 and beyond. I dont like announcements years in advance and wish publlishers/developers would basically stick to what is releasing in the coming 12-18 months. No game needs to be at more than 2 E3's.

So to sum it up, detailed info on the various online services, an in depth look at games releasing later this year and a glimpse of what to expect next year.

Yes, the online subscription info is a must. Nintendo is going to have to detail what separates their brand from their competitors outside of exclusives. They will also need to show what makes them competitive. . I dont think Nintendo will announce anything thats at least a year off for games though. They are pretty reliable there. Good stuff, man.

I don't think Nintendo will do some kind of achieviements system

Why do you think they might not achievements to be important in this day and age?

Those Nintrophies get brought up a fair amount. Since a new system just launched, now would be a nice time to introduce them. However, like others, I doubt it happens.

Theres a lot of people who havent gamed on a Nintendo platform (like myself) in a while and want incentives. As silly as it sounds, achivements and trophies are pretty big. it helps with replay value. I can understand the skepicism. Nintendo needs to get with the program.

Yes,achievements are a must. Nintendo just doesnt understand. I dontknow what it is, but it givesa sense of accomplishment. I dont think Nintendo will announce anything thats at least a year off though. They are pretty reliable there. Good stuff, man.

haha no worries man, I dont think we will get achievements in the same way Sony/MS do them, instead it will be tied into My Nintendo offering rewards for various things. They already do that but I think they will expand upon it with Switch.

Never said it wasn't important. I just don't believe Nintendo will make them
