Forums - Nintendo Discussion - All Nintendo needs to have a great press conference for me (with the switch)

I have faith in Nintendo with their upcoming/ future releases, I want info on Virtual console, especially as GameCube titles have been rumoured. Also if streaming apps are becoming available like Netflix etc.

Animal Crossing or a Non-Crap Mario Party please.

I'd love if they brought back some Wii third party sequels like they're doing with No More Heroes. give me No More Heroes 3, Red Steel 3, Conduit 3 (or even the The Grinder that was canned), Lost in Shadow 2, Madworld 2, etc.

Five points and im keeping this simple.

1. Talk more in depth about their online and announce their achievements/ trophy system.

2. Announce more core exclusives outside of what is known for future dates

3. Show off gameplay that has not yet been shown for announced titles.

4. Show off motion controlled games that will make use of wii mote like features.

5.Tell me about what third parties are on board and what they are bringing.

Im all in Nintendo. Let me know whats up.

What do you guys want?

Hmm, actually I agree with you, that is not very usual.

1. While a system-wide trophy system only appeals to some gamers, it appeals to some gamers. It is easy to implement, doesn't hurt anyone (it should be optional, so game-makers could avoid it if it is not matching their game) and adds something for a few gamers. It would be more a signal, but enough for some to jump towards the Switch. Give the players something cool. I really liked the achievements in Kid Icarus Uprising, where you unlocked pieces of a greater image. Unlock all achievements for a game, and you get the full image. Even betetr: make it like the Streetpass-puzzle game, and the full image is animated. But even a system like in Smash, where you could look at your trophies in a trophy room is cool.

2. Actually, the Switch offers enough value (being both a handheld and a home console) for simple remakes to be better. A Kid Icarus Uprising played on the big screen? A Bayonetta on the go? That would be both really cool, so I think the Switch could profit from some key remakes. Don't overdo it though. For new games: some Pokemon game would be cool: Pokemon stars or maybe even the next remake of Diamond/Pearl. While the main Smash is probably years away, a Smash 4 Deluxe would be great.

3. That is always great.

4. I say now, a Switch Sports resort like the original Wii Sports resort, but with slightly changed events (as needed as the joycons aren't Wiimotes). Maybe take out some less popular (cycling?) and add stuff like tennis.

5. From the first showing of this 3rd-party-graphic I still miss what From Software has to offer for Switch. Obviously I hope for Dark Souls, but I'm interested in anything they offer. I can't await the announcement of a Monster Hunter title for Switch, so Capcom get your shit together. Also a new Etrian Odyssey title (or something similar) would be great.

Oddly enough? Tell me about 2018 and 2019.

We have Zelda, Mario Kart, Xenoblade, Mario 3d, Splatoon 2, and probably Pokemon. So what does that leave for 2018 and 2019?

Oh and also some 3ds games. Bravely third, more about Etrian Dungeon 2. Persona Q2 (adding P5).

They did that with WiiU, announced XCX and FExSMT too early.

All I want is a 10 inch Switch with an overclocked GTX Titan Xp and an eternal-lasting battery for $250. Otherwise, nintendoomed!

You got it wrong, people want a 4 inch Switch with no bezels, thinner than a sheet of paper, with a super overclocked GTX Titan xp, a 4k display and an ever lasting battery. For $200. And preferably with games bundled, otherwise it's not worth it.

And even if they managed to do that, you would still have others bitching and moaning saying if they didnt 'make it portable, they could have fit 2 GTX Titans inside for the same price.

Or most likely they would say "remove the joycons and you could fit 3 gtx titans for same price"

No on is ever happy, and they are also all morons when it comes to console expectations/wants.

It's all about AAA 3rd party exclusives for me.

@#1??? Nintendo's achievement system was already announced, it's called My Nintendo.

I would like to hear about the online subscription service, multimedia apps, Virtual Console & My Nintendo integration

Obviously info & gameplay of games set to release in the 2nd half of the year and hopefully some announcements of games coming this year that we dont know about yet.

And another obvious one is getting a pretty good glimpse of what is in store for next year. I dont want them to blow their load and show off everything coming next year but enough to let us know 2018 will have strong support.

One thing I dont want them to announce is games that will release in 2019 and beyond. I dont like announcements years in advance and wish publlishers/developers would basically stick to what is releasing in the coming 12-18 months. No game needs to be at more than 2 E3's.

So to sum it up, detailed info on the various online services, an in depth look at games releasing later this year and a glimpse of what to expect next year.

Good post, one which I can get behind!

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

Here are the items I'm hoping to see/hear about.

1. Virtual Console with backwards compatibility (in some form) for what I've already purchased.
2. Online system in full detail - price, features, value - why do I want to give $$ monthly to Nintendo?
3. Other Nintendo IPs - especially Metroid
4. Some sort of backwards compatibility with digital titles from WiiU
5. Star Wars Battlefront II on Switch (I don't want to buy it for my XboxOne)
