Yeah, like communism would ever happen through elections within the system!

The Workers' Party of Belgium ( It is one of the few parties that operates as a single Belgian party. Most other parties are either Flemish or Francophone.

The PVDA-PTB hosts the International Communist Seminar, which in recent years has become one of the main worldwide gatherings of communist parties.

They could end up taking the power atleast in south of Belgium with the next election. In the North they are atleast dead =p.

In Flanders they're doing better than usual though, with almost 5% (!)

However, Vlaams Belang is currently at more than the double.

The French just took a look at Trump and May and said "Nope!"

They been making horrible decisions, so it goes to show, common sense does sometime work.

In 4 years you will have more descendant of immigrants growing up and becoming eligible to vote, those will not vote for her. It's done.

Are you telling that immigrants will all go to the left? I mean France has some of the worst youth unemployement in Europe, and as a society is in a state of emergency. Why would they vote for the left if the economy is shit, and they're the ones in power? And besides, immigrants don't make up enough of France to prevent her from winning (yet).

Macron is a right-wing candidate, in economic terms. Le Pen is, economically, much closer the current (previous) government.

Bet with PeH:

I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.

Bet with WagnerPaiva:

I win if Emmanuel Macron wins the french presidential election May 7th 2017.

Sanity FTW, although Melenchon should've won! Communism should make a glorious come back. A revamped Communism 2.0 for the 21st century!

Le Pen has officially conceded.

Was expected, though I was hoping she would win. Still, she's doing far better than her father. We'll see in 4 years how things are...

Nah, no matter how many years you're hoping for, it just isn't gonna happen with Le Pen. Until the polls came in we heard how it was all but confirmed she was gonna win in 2017. Extremism isn't the answer to combatting extremism. All she did was to whine about the problems but never provide the solutions to solve the problems.

Looking how Geert Wilders lost, Trump having the lowest approval ratings in history and how terrible his first 100 days have been I'd say the fascist populist hype is coming to an end.

There won't be another election. Immigrants vote left. Happens in US too. France as a country is gone. More (economic) migrants will flood the country requiring more and more aid from the tax basis. This will further squeeze the productive class in society killing job growth. The government will grow larger, youth unemployment will get worse. There is no economic future for France. Le Pen was a socialist, but at least solving immigration would have given the country another 10 years to solve everything else. Macron will import more and more voters and the country will descend into a third world hellhole.

The market for generation 9 has fundamentally shifted. Europe (sans the UK) will not be a viable market anymore.

Well atleast it would get destroyed by what the youngest generations voted and not by the old ones.

I don't see your point exactly. Macron is going to be like Hollande, which as you know was some of the worst years in French history.

Well their have been some recent elections where the younger generations totally voted different than the end result and whatever the consequences it is mostle the younger generations who will get hit the hardest...

Oh, you're back :)

Is this now enough proof for you that fascist/xenophobes do not represent a majority in Europe?

No, we didn't. We heard that she was maybe going to win the first round, but that she was doomed in the second round. She wasn't going to win this time, and everybody saw it coming.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Did you just bring video game sales into this?

As a matter of fact, immigrants, particularly the poor, uneducated, barely vote at all (less than 30%)

As for economic future, the stock markets, most people qualified to talk about economics, strongly disagree with you. Both the Euro and CAC40 exploded after Macron's victory in the first round.
