I'm at a bit of a loss when trying to predict how many units Switch will be be able to move in its second month. March was an inpressive start, but can that sort of momentum be maintained. My thought is that numbers will obviously drop off from launch, but the Switch has continually sold through shipments here in the States. 

Am I crazy for thinking that the Switch could move an additional million units worldwide by the end of April? Will Nintendo even be able to ship that many?

Have they produced and shipped enough to even have a spike for MK8?

Almost seems like MK8 should have been a late May release... it was the only game I remember actually moving some Wii U units (I got a MK8 bundle myself).

Mario Kart will have an effect, but it will be more on May.

Hopefully there is a large restock next week, one would assume so with Mario Kart.

Four million by months end would be bonkers. I say 2.8 million by end of April.

It will have sold as much as they shipped, more (or rather slightly less, obviously).

you may want to go over those numbers again.

estimates put it close to 2.4 million at the end of March.

that would only be like 400k for the entire month of April.

Japan alone has sold 85k in the first 2 weeks of April, adding in the next 2 weeks (one of which includes Mario Kart) should put it close to 200k.

I have really hard time seeing Japan making up about 50% of April sales when it only made up around 25% of March sales.
