WiFi reception could be better – but I think it is more important to have the antennas be positioned for local multi Switch play. I'm using a cheap UGreen 1GB Ethernet-USB adapter which just works. Its even faster then the original Nintendo one which I use since the Wii days.

I haven't had any problems with Fast RMX and Splatoon 2 Testfire (although it was a testfire) when online.

Thanks for responses everyone! Well it seems it's not every system, probably not even half of them otherwise this issue would have blown up more. Thus I'm gonna chance it! I have terrible luck so I'll probably get a faulty one, but it's better to deal with having to get it fixed now rather than when Splatoon 2 launches.

I have been playing Bomberman and Fast FMX online a LOT. Haven't had any issues really. Konami fixed Bomberman with that update the other day, which was a game issue, not console. Fast RMX has some hiccups here and there but I'm pretty sure Shin'en said they're working on a balance patch. Either way, the console itself I haven't had any problems with, in terms of it disconnecting from the internet or Joycon related issues.

Mine doesn't connect to the internet since yesterday.

Fixed. The solution was way easier than I thought. I just had to shutdown the system and restart. Power-off (not just standby) is only possible on the system itself, not (yet) via Pro Controller - I hope the feature will be added some day - and as I only use the system in docked mode I had forgotten that the system can actually be completely shut down.

i haven't noticed any issues, but the only online game i played was fast rmx.

Here's what I noticed - Anytime Switch has a software update Internet connection drops, but after a restart its fine. What I thik is going on is that Switch is not doing the update process correctly, specifically the restart system part. When the Switch has a update available that hasn't been installed anything that requires Internet will be blocked untill update happens. I think in dock mode Switch does update but doesn't reset so we have hard reset for finish process.

Have you tried turning the system off and on? I recently ran into this internet issue and after turning it off and on and then going to System Settings -> Internet -> Internet Settings and testing the connection successfully, that seems to have fixed my issue thereafter.

I don't have the system yet but I will be keeping this in mind.

I tested it a while ago and it's a lot weaker and slower than my laptop, half the signal strength and speed. It struggles to connect at some places in the house while my laptop works fine. Every time I wanted to upload some screenshots from Zelda it was faster to walk to the router instead of waiting for it to finally complete.

It works, it's a little weaker than the WiiU's wifi module, which was the previously weakest device in the house.
