Only weak willed People will consider suicide.

Well, I would hope never to be put into a situation where I would actually consider it. Even through the worst of times my faith and family have kept me strong.

Not may people have a strong system of support or faith ( as I do in Christ) to be able to bare the burdens of this world. Some people who have been brutally, sexually abused or beaten, have chronic mental illness such as depersonalization/derealization, schyzophrenia, etc  are not weak willed people. Sometimes the situation becomes so overwhelming and they choose the wrong route.

Unless you've been in someone shoes who was on the verge or has taken their life, try not being an asshole. It'll do you somei

i'm Catholic and i would say that my faith is strong(spent my Elementary and highschool years in a Catholic School, but i still don't believe in Confessions ). Just think positive and know that there are people around the globe who has it worse than you like people who struggle to procure food to eat every day of their lives, and people like me with terminal ilnesses but still fighting/wants to live longer.

After Jew Wario I made a video on my channel about Suicide. I have made several attempts until I was 28. I got the right help and been fine since. Once I took an entire bottle of sleeping pills. All that happened is I stayed awake all night. Tried hanging myself but the cloth ripped. Many more things.

I guess it is like my grandfather once told me: no one dies before the right time, all these close call you had... Thankfuly you´re still here to tell us about.

Care to share how it stopped?

A really fantastic therapist.  I still go but more for anxiety than depression.

Can't watch the video now because I'm laying in bed with my wife but I was suicidal at 18 and again in 2013 (was going through some things). I was looking up "best place to shoot yourself" and, instead of getting an answer, I was taken to a site that convinced me that life was worth living.

Equally effective advice with "get over it" and "stop being poor". Doesn't work that way in most cases. There is no switch that makes you positive.

When it comes to life and death, any positive option should not be discounted. Jesus can certainly be the catalyst in opening opportunities for healing.

Beautiful.

So Jesus is your save space. That's cool, but aren't safe spaces for the weak according to you?

when i'm doubting life and my existence, i think about what it would do to my mother, wife aunt and sisters if i gave up. That brings me back to reasoning. You have to keep trying to make it and pull through.

I've never had any suicidal thoughts, but if I ever would have them, this would probably stop me from actually commiting suicide. I do not wnat to do that to my family.

I don't imagine anyone wants to do that to their family.

Consider that those that do commit, are at a point where even the thought of hurting those closest to them isn't enough.

From what I've heard it seems that they either have a terrible relationship with their parents or don't think they matter all that much to them (they may have kids and grandkids) and that life will go on for the parents/relatives without them.

People who talk about suicide almost never do it and people who do it almost never talk about it.

Can't find the study at the moment, but it showed that it's the exact opposite. Those who talk about it, even when they joke about it, are more likely to do it.
