Square Enix will release a new Final Fantasy XV update on April 27, adding a new PlayStation 4 Pro mode, Timed Quest ranking feature, and more.

Yes I loved the Timed Quests~!!

Nice to see they are still updating. Though these updates don't fix any of the underlying issues with the game.

  • Subtitles, as well as some menu screen text sizes have been enlarged.

I like this change. Had a hard time seeing some text at the distance I play so I hope this fixes that a bit. I can see things in Persona 5 perfectly fine, for reference.

  • New “Stable Mode” added to the PlayStation 4 Pro resolution options. With this mode, you can comfortably enjoy playing the game with a stable frame rate.

I wonder if this means locked 60fps?

PS4 Pro isn't powerful enough for locked 60.

Like Digital Foundry showed it was 39-60 and they removed 1080p stable 30 fps mode so I think they are bringing it back.

Stable 30 fps and perhaps 1440p or something.

I'm interested to know what stable mode is, hopefully it's a locked 30fps at a higher resolution for us 1080p users, lol.

"Stable" mode. Sounds like a feature but should be standard.

So many idiots roaming VGChartz nowadays....

Did they ever "fix" the ending or add the new chapter or whatever?

I keep putting it off, and it keeps getting improved. I may play 15 in 2017 yet.
