Forums - General Discussion - Chinese factories working conditions. Beans have been spilled.

Why that many metal detectors though? Aren't those harmful? Not to mention, they never serve their purpose. We know about most tech products before they are released.

working hours are shit, payment is bad, but overall not as bad as I expected it to be.

The video did a pretty bad job to show how bad it really is to work in such a factory. "It is boring" doesn't sound as bad as it is if you can imagine how boring it is and how you always have the pressure to work super fast.

There is a reason why they have the nets there, it's not because it is only a little bit boring. You work 12/6 and as reward you can either sit in a bad room which doesn't even have a TV or anything with 7 other people or you can go to the Internet cafe to do the same thing every single day.

Hmm. I remember Trump saying he'll make Apple, and other companies that is outsourcing jobs relocate their factories in the USA.

CPU: Ryzen 7950X
GPU: MSI 4090 SUPRIM X 24G
Motherboard: MSI MEG X670E GODLIKE
RAM: CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM 32GB DDR5
SSD: Kingston FURY Renegade 4TB
Gaming Console: PLAYSTATION 5

Its definivily supposed to be a temp job, but i ask myself how much is the rent on the dorm fo the campus. Other problem is that with hours like that you can't take courses to improve yourself and find a new job. It's on the limit, really.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

Those will also be the concentration camps for the minorities. (Too far?)

Could be worse.

Could be working in the sulfur mines of Indonesia.

Or as a child in the mines of Africa. Mining for cobalt, copper and other minerals essential to keep our (smartphone) industry going.

Or blood diamonds, as only they have the most important role in humanity: looking pretty.
