PS4/Switch

Were going to start seeing this as the preferred Japanese combo. Not to mention I dont believe any game from this team has ever come to XBOX

Im not counting it because this is a very Japanese game, developed by the team behind God Eater, which never released, as far as I am aware, anything outside of PS systems because the XOne has zero presence in Japan.(The more japanese centric games are more concerned with the japanese audience first and foremost)

Now, given that the Switch has been successful so far, and that is doing very well in Japan, and that the article says home consoles (so plural), the most likely candidates are PS4 and then the Switch.Not saying that a XOne version cant exist, just that it is far more unlikely to happen.

Its really hard to consider the Xbox considering God Eater never released on any Xbox platform but there's still a chance considering they port most of their multiplats to Xbox One as well.


Switch seems unlikely but who knows , they might consider it a home console.



As for the PC platform, it will eventually be released on PC but I dont think anytime soon but again, you never know considering their recent games have been day to day release like Tales of Berseria, etc. But considering its the god eater team, they might take a late port similar approach to God Eater and God Eater 2.

It is a home console.

For me it seems that a Switch version is far more likely than a XOne, but we will see.

Ergh... who makes announcements with concept art anymore? Give us gameplay.

My guess is that they're not saying which consoles because they don't know yet whether it will be worth the work to port it to Switch. Since they said consoleS (plural), and we know it is coming to the US, I think PS4 and XB1 are certain. But, the choice of wording leaves the possibility of Switch on the table. And, with Switch starting strong, they probably don't want to close that door just yet.
