Seriously? Is everyone just forgetting that 3D Mario is one of the highest reviewed franchises of all time?

lol i forgot about odyssey.

Or it is a very obvious one.                           95 for sure

Xeonblade2 also has chanche, we also dont know whats Switch Retro Games game, we could easily have some surprises in next two years on Switch.

I'll also go on to add that anything playable in Treasure Trove is also multiplatform.

Talk about blowing your load early.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I meber the times sony games were dismissed because that's a remaster, that's a port, that's a remake they don't count (that is a niche game :D ), but hey nintendo congrats for a port and a remaster^^

People are really reaching here. Shovel Knight is suddenly an important game. Mario Kart WiiU is also a masterpiece now. Are people really re-buying a kart racer?

Not Mario Kart Wii U, but the Switch version is because it fixed all the problems of the original game and is bursting with content. And yes, people are really going to re-buy it. It's Mario Kart! It is bigger than any other racing series on the planet, including Forza and Gran Turismo.

I don't get the hate. Two of the very best games on PS4 are GTA V and The Last of Us Remastered and I'm extremely happy they are there for me to play on PS4 and not just on last gen. The PS4 Tomb Raider Remaster was also great and Skyrim Special Edition is awesome value on all consoles (except the Switch maybe, if they gimp that version). Heck, GTA V is selling huge numbers every week on PS4 and is a huge system seller. Should we count GTA V out because it came out on PS3 and 360 originally? The game adds huge value to the PS4's library.

I'm not surprised at the thread author at all.

I'm mostly just surprised that you didn't go full weasel statistics and say that Nintendo had the top 3 games this year.

Like I wrote in OP, "I find its quite interesting that Switch that is only 1.5 months on market already has 3 from top 5 games of 2017. until now", maybe you disagree.

Hubris.

Xbox one, anyone ?

If anyone's interested in how all systems are doing, here's how many titles each system has in the top 100 for this year so far. Brackets show number of releases on metacritic.

PC - 22  (53)
XBO - 19 (54)
Switch - 13 (26)
3DS - 4 (6)
