I was just curouis how many users here have kids and how they manage their gaming time having kids.  I have four kids. I have two teenagers, an 8 year old and a 6 month baby.

I have seven. Oldest turns 13 and youngest turns 3 this summer.

At daytime I mostly play multiplayer with my kids and/or off-TV with Wii U or on 3/2DS. If I play games that require you to sit in front of a TV extended periods of time (like Xenoblade Chronicles X), I usually play it when the smaller kids have gone to sleep.
I/we have roughly a dozen games consoles, five of my kids have smartphones and two oldest have computers on top of that, so when needed, pretty much everyone can play when they want to.

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

I have two, 10 and 8...can't say they don't cut into my gaming habits, but then again we play a lot together, both video and board games.

3 spawn.

We restrict screen time to ensure healthy activity overall. We have several consoles, they own 3DSs, tablets, laptops and a pc for steam gaming.

I play with them on games that I also like (i don't play FPS anymore and they still do). Wife loathes games and wishes they did any other form of entertainment. Mostly because some would literally do nothing else if unchecked.

I have 2. I mostly play at night after they've gone to bed. During the day we sometimes play together or I help them with whatever they're stuck on. Most recently Lovers in a dangerous space time is a big hit and they also like Cel Damage HD.

They've changed my gaming habits as I used to play Everquest and later WoW with my wife daily. Haven't touched that since she got pregnant. My wife is mostly gaming on mobile nowadays. We rarely all play a game together as they're always stuff to do with kids.

Zero.

The older I get the more impressed I am by people who had children in their 20s and didn't go insane.

2 kids aged 7 and 1. I put everything revolved around them as priority before i even think of gaming. Most of my gaming is done in the evening when they are in bed, i manage anything from 1-4 hours a night. I survive on little sleep so can be gaming until 1am at times, yet I'm always up fresh for work in the morning. My daughter is into gaming, she has a 2DS and has now had my Wii U's since i got my Switch. I find gaming help us bond, especially party games like Mario party or 1,2 Switch.

I have one. She turns 16, today. We gamed together for as long as I can remember. Great memories!

-She was the destroyer of Nintendo DS consoles (used anything to scratch the touch screen).
-Learned how to use an analog stick thanks to Feeding Frenzy
- Forced me to play through many horrible kid's games like Finding Nemo, Bee Movie, and Flushed Away.
-Helped capture Star Bits in Super Mario Galaxy
-Beat The Maw (she was so proud!) Her first game completion
-Was my partner in Halo 1-Reach
-Beat RE5 together

I could go on and on. Best thing I ever did was create my own gaming buddy!

I am very impressed that you find time to play Xenoblade Chronicles X with SEVEN kids. I was able to beat that one before we had a new baby but I can't imagine how many hours it would say after I beat it. When I beat FF 15, I was at like 115 hours. Probably 45 hours of actual playing and the rest from being in the menu with the tv turned off while I await my next chance to play.

I just downloaded Lovers in a dangerous space time. I was hoping that would be the next family hit. Our last one was Towerfall.
