Also in the example you have provided, I'm all for them discussing those or other topics. As long as they don't feel like they have some moral highground to make others conform to what they perceive as correct.
The discussion about language I find particularly harmful as it has the smell of thought and speach police. As if limiting the use of x or y words is the correct way to solve any problem.
Also the societal pressures I find a completely pointless subject (again, they should feel free to discuss it as much as they want) because these will always exist. It also reeks of an attempt to control sexuality and what people feel attracted to. Like for some reason it's bad to have a sexy woman / man displaying some sensuality in media.
So yeah, there's plenty of points I would disagree even with the more rational kind of feminists, which again, does not in any way make them evil like the OP suggested.
Feminism was invented by left wing extremists back in the 1950s. Feminists are jealous and envious of the success of men. Feminists want everything but they do not want to work for it. Feminists spread lies, misinformation and propaganda to gain support.

As for videogames. I dont care if the character is female or male. Before HZD came out some people complained that the main character was female and those complaints seemeed, I dunno, weird to me. The game its designed that way, the gender of the character hardly plays any role so you "Not relating" to it its weird. Its not trying to satisfy any "SJW" mentality some people moronically relate to everything. And as for the sexualitation of characters... well shit, games are fantasy, just like comic books, and it goes for both men and women, so deal with it.

It sounds like you're a gender egaliatarian so why not call yourself that? It's less confusing, more accurate and affects a broader range of people. The term feminism needs to die. If a feminist isn't willing to embrace the term 'gender-egalitarian' then the don't truly want equality.

I don't think I have ever met a feminist that I actually liked. From my experience, they always seem to have some sort of a nonsense agenda and god forbid you like hot women. Heck look at Emma Watson. She calls herself a feminist but recently she did a photo shoot in front of a magazine where she was almost naked. And guess what? Feminists went crazy even saying that Emma Watson isn't a feminist and she just did the photo thing to pleasure men. And Emma Watson responded with "Feminism is about giving women choice and etc and not about what I do with my tits" and the nature of it all is just hilarious. And yes, this was trending pretty big on every social media site.
At the end of the day, I don't have much respect for a lot of the feminists out there. I want equailty for all but what I don't want is one gender taking priority over another. We have other terms for those who want equailty and those who want what's best for a specific gender.

Ok, now we have gone from abusive husbands to a serial killer. Thats a bit different. Prison stopped him from killing people. Although he did escape a couple of times.
think about it like this.
you are the best fireman in the city, so much so that there are hardly ever fires anymore, and even when there are it is something small that could easily be put out with a fire extinguisher. now as a fireman, it is your job to make sure there are no fires, but now that there arent any, your job feels unnecessary. of course you dont want somebody's house to burn down, but if it doesnt then whats the point of you being around.
and that is essentially modern day feminism. there arent exactly any major gender separations in the world today, so feminism has basically become obsolete. feminists may hate gender inequalities, but what they really hate more is being ignored. so now they just find any vantage point they can to spark controversy.
so now I'll just bring this analogy to a full circle. a feminist who sparks controversy just so they can remain relevant is the same as a fireman who sets people's houses on fire in order to keep his job.
Feminism lost it's reasons, today we can clearly see it was never about equality.
