You're nervous over an exam and work! I hope you get over it but man I wish I had those stresses. Try dealing with being told your work is absolute shit and nobody would pay for it... as an artist that gets me down, but now I'm seeing how true that is, accepting the issues that plague me, I feel much better and I'm moving in a direction in which I can get hired after University. So I guess from my experience, accept that you aren't perfect but remind yourself you're going to do the best you can to achieve perfection, whether it be on your workplace or taking a test. Our school systems has fucked our minds up so much, we've become depressed if we don't stack up to what's required. I'm learning that it's okay to fail, as long as you have the intention of becoming better and once I accept that, the stress goes away, instantly.

So um, that's my advice.

Cry.

Normally, I just stop what I'm doing, take a moment to lay down, and empty my mind for a moment. Just try to relax. Then once I'm ready, I get back up and continue what I was doing. Sleep tends to take my stress away too. After a good night sleep, I feel fresh again.

I've tried to take naps before, but I can never fall asleep.

I don't normally fall alseep either when I lay down. Just laying down helps me relax a little.

OK. I used to try to calm down and relax, but then I'd always be worrying that I'm spending my time doing nothing when I should be doing something.

I feel that way sometimes too, but then I also feel that sometimes everyone just needs a break, even if it's just a brief one.

Well, I guess I've been doing that right now, spending too much time on VGChartz when I could have been studying! Oh well, I've alrady gone through everything a few times, I'm not sure what else I could have learned with another go.

Well, if you feel you're good to go for your test, then just try to relax and do your best. No need to add unnecessary stress.

There is nothing you can do to easily or quickly fix that.

Though exercise is a good idea, the problem is that most people lack the motivation to keep going after the first couple of weeks. The gym is the very first thing you quit when you're pressured. I'd say try to do a group activity/sport. That way you don't only think about the exercise, but also about the people you'll do it with. And if you miss a training/meeting people may notice and call you to see what happened. So, it'll be much harder to skip.

Recreational volleyball is the first thing that comes to mind. But there are more groups/sports that you, personally, may find closer to your tastes. I once tried squash with some teammates from another sport and it brought us much closer. Wednesday became my favourite day of the week, not so much because of the actual sport, but because of the people there.

My step dad wanted me to play soccer with him on weekdays, but I'd unfortunately chicken out.

Next time he offers you should go, it could do wonders for you. If you keep refusing company, one day people stop asking.

I'm already long past that point with my friends!
