Because people won't even attempt to buy it assuming it's out of stock anyway.

No, it's because Nintendo will price it higher this time around and the SNES wasn't a phenomenon in its original form, so demand won't reach the same levels.

Going further with this and using Ka-pi's wish for a N64 Mini, that one would probably have a hard time selling out.

Are you serious?  SNES is the most sought after, revered, desired, collectable, and most holy grail of all platforms amongst all new age collectors and youtubers.  It will be worse than NES Mini even if they make more and it costs more.

Hmm. NES mini, Wii mini, and now SNES mini.

Super Mario 64

Ocarina of Time

Mario Kart 64

Lylat Wars

Blast Corps

F-Zero X

And that's just about it. Or was it sarcasm.

Majora's Mask

Super Smash Bros

Yoshi Story

DK64

Kirby 64

Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2

Pokemon Snap

Mario Party 1 - 3

Waverace

Paper Mario

That without the Rare output.

Could easily have 20 real good n64 games for an n64-mini with third party games:

1. Super Mario 64

2. Zelda: OoT

3. Zelda: MM

4. Mario Kart 64

5. Diddy Kong Racing

6. Star Fox 64

7. Mario Golf

8. Mario Tennis

9. Wave Race 64

10. Banjo-Kazooie

11. GoldenEye

12. Perfect Dark

13. Turok 2

14. Rogue Squadron

15. Jet Force Gemini

16. 1080 Snowboarding or Snowboard Kids

17. Super Smash Bros.

18. Conker's Bad Fur Day

19. F-Zero X

20. Yoshi's Story

That right there would be an awesome list. I mean you've got at least 6 top notch multiplayer games right there that anyone could spend dozens of hours playing each, not to mention some of the best one player games ever made on there. I can't see them putting more than 20 n64 games on a mini n64 because that already is just an insane amount of content. And I think only like 6 or so of those are third party games so it would keep the payouts less than the NES so the system would be more profitable to sell for Nintendo, not to mention everyone would be buying 3 extra controllers with it.

And I didn't even include some popular n64 games that I don't care for like Paper Mario, Mario Party's, Pokemons, DK64, etc. And there is certainly more you can add to this list, like Blast Corps, one of the fantastic wrestling games, Banjo-Tooie, Bomberman 64, Killer Instinct Gold, Excitebike 64.

I'd buy that thing up in a second!

I'll try to buy one more than the Nes Mini.

Aren't the NES mini controllers pretty much identical to OG NES controllers, even down to size? The only diffrence is that they have much, much shorter cables.

Not sure about the mini famicom though, those look small.

Actually the famicom was the one I saw, and the controllers are SO small (maybe because they had to fit on the console side as it used to be for the Famicom), but if the mini nes has a regular one, it's fine then.

Yeah, I have one and it's almost as big as the entire console and i think it's OG NES controller size, but i don't have one here to compare. It's definitevely not to scale! XD

I just figured they'd do the same with SNES mini and put an orginal sized controller in the box.

But yeah, the famicom minis controllers look tiny. At least it comes with two out of the box though, I haven't been able to find a second official one. I bought a cheap knock-off, but it's not qite up to snuff.

This thing I will actually buy. The SNES games were the perfection of 2-d gaming, imo, and still feel fun to play today, whereas NES just isn't enjoyable to me (too frustrating).

The NES Marios, Punch-Out!, and Super C/Contra still hold up pretty well, but yeah some of the other NES games are a bit jarring to play these days. If you forced yourself to play nothing but the NES, you'd get used to it though, lol.

It's a cool gadget for sure, I'm sure it will be hugely succesful (even more so than the NES mini, I think).

I'll stick with my Raspberry Pi though. The entire SNES library and more.

Ive started to associate Nintendo with consoles that I want but can't find/buy. I've stopped bothering to try.

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Here is my dream list for the games:
1 -Super Mario World
2 -F Zero
3 -Final Fantasy 5
4 - Final Fantasy 6
5 - Super Castlevania 4
6 - Donkey Kong Country.
7 - Super Metroid.
8 - Legend of Zelda - A link to the Past.
9 - Earthbound.
10 - Super Mario All Stars
11 - Star Fox.
12 - Cybernator.
13 - Chrono Trigger.
14 - Front Mission.
15 - Treasure Hunter G.
16 - Dragon Quest 1 and 2.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.
