I'd love to be able to build the machine I want that plays them all and not having to constantly shell out £4-500+ every few years on multiple closed boxes. It would also kill off most of the brand loyals in the process, because everyone can play everything and not be tied to a piece of branded console hardware (before cpt obvious tries to toss in AMD/Nvidia).

Don't forget the paying for online part as well which is probably the worst offender for me.

No because Sony make the best hardware, and I like to play on consoles. Nintendo make the worst hardware imo, so them going third party is an excellent idea for gamers.

What's the point of them going third party? Sony doesn't make games. They just buy/provide the platform for the talent that does, like Valve Corp. It's either they stay first party or they leave the business entirely.

I know this is just a joke thread in response to BraLod thread but still...

Sony going third party is a very stupid idea, i mean Sonys biggest strenght is being a platform with the strongest third party support, its the only console that has both STRONG Japanese and western third party support, the Xbox is dead when it comes to getting japanese games, and the Switch is almost as dead when it comes to getting third party western games like Titanfall, COD, Battlefield, Red Dead Redemption, Doom etc.

So far PS is the only console that can give me games like Titanfall 2, GTA V, Doom, and others along with games like Neptunia, Tales of, Nier Automata and Persona 5.
