My wife's Russian, she loved Canada as we spent a couple of weeks their before and after our Alaskan cruise 2 years ago. We actually plan on going back in a year or so. People were friendly, polite and easy going and it just seems to have a far more relaxed attitude to life. In many ways very similar to Russian peoples nature of being open and friendly (despite what the media portrays).
