Forums - Sales Discussion - does anyone still think the wii will lose this console war?

the question is pretty simple. is there anybody that still thinks that in some strange occurence the wii sales will go down and the ps3/360 sales will go up causing the wii to lose. i think its POSSIBLE but so is hilary fu***ng obama.

its POSSIBLE but its never gonna happen.

the nintendo wii will outsell the ps3 and the 360 combined by the end of 2008.

PS3 will out sell the 360 june 2010.

GOTY of 2008 is super smash brothers brawl.... hopefully.

I DO!!!

The Wii has won. No need to brag about it. Everyone knows the Wii will win.

No and anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves.

Its pretty obvious who won.

A great troll thread rubbing your nose in it.

I'll go this far, it's possible if the Wii lasts 5 years and the PS3 10 that PS3 sales may well eclipse Wiis, but it'd be highly debatable if that'd qualify as 'winning'.

Nintendo has already made enough money where there is really nothing to lose any more. They've already made enough to fund the next generation which is still far in the future.

I think the cube is making a comeback if you ask me

I honestly see the Wii sales dropping off this year (there is only so far a console can go with out good enough 3rd party support), and I have a strong feeling the PS3 will pick up enough sustained momentum to win this generation, just barely though.
