It's not a full on action movie, but I'd recommend Park Chan Wook's Oldboy
Also, Hardboiled

Once upon in China 1 and 2.
The ones afterwards don't star Jet Li.
Meltdown and The Enforcer are also pretty decent.

VGPolyglot said: I love action movies. Especially if it has lots of guns or lots of fists! I am a big fan of 80s action movies, as well as Asian ones. However, I am unfortunately not too familiar with them. Some of my favourites include: The Raid: Redemption Battle Royale Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky (I love how cheesy it is!) I'm also aware of John Woo, but I haven't seen any of his films. Of course, there's also Jackie Chan and all of his movies. However, I was wondering if you had any good recommendations for me. |
Incredibly funny movie. Dunno how the English dub is, but the German dub is one of the most cheesy things I've ever heard.

Nope, I actually haven't seen it yet!
I love Jackie Chan and Jet Li movies, but... both can't beat Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky.
Chec out The Raid 2

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.
Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
