And yet Healthcare, Education, Standard of Living, Income Equality and even various indexes like Economic Freedom the USA falls short on.

as if china is any better? China's Coastal cities = Modern/Advanced, Chinas' Interior =   like you’ve stumbled into one of the poorest corners of Africa.

I never said anything about China or Africa so your point is moot.

Simple answer is you can't as the world progresses it becomes to big an entity to compete with you can only choose to work with it.

USA pretty much dominates every area when it comes to business especially technology. China relies on USA for jobs the most especially when it comes to manufacturing jobs. The problem is manufacturing will become less and less of a thing with the technology we have.

US just handed China a win with TPP.

Tesla's value isn't high just because of electric car though, right? They have many adventures that aren't exclusive to cars, multiple "smart" solutions for renewable energy propped up their value.

Back to the USA economy... Where are they heading with that ever rising deficit? I don't get it.

Will anything happen when the United States national debt hits $20 trillion or $30 trillion?

Or can it go up indefinitely?

agree with @miguel_Zorro, China has a BILLION people and yet cannot come up with a innovative idea/product. All they do is bootleg other ips, make fake/imitation baby formula, soy sauce,...etc.
The U.S. needs to step up their education. China has a ton of college grads and are shifting away from factory jobs.
There are a lot of great schools here but most cannot afford it. Even local colleges' tuition have more than doubled since 2000.
I've read that high end IT jobs are outsourced because Americans just don't have what it takes.

What i mean is every Country has its flaws and The USA is still the greatest(all around aspects)  Country in the world today, so they don't need catching up to the other powerful countries who are just playing second fiddle tothem.

It can't; world balance of power is shifting to the East. Stick a fork in it, ya done.

But it isn't for all the reasons I laid out.

Americans should really pay Australia and New Zealand a visit
