Pretty much confirmed since well only get informations about Switch version After PS4/3DS versions release on july.

Goddammit Nintendo.It will still be big even if it launches a bit later, but its a lost oportunity for Japan.The 1-2 punch that Splatoon 2 and DQ XI would be... it would KO Japan.Oh well.

I still think for west it will be simultaneously for all platforms

I personally don't care as long as the localised version releases same day in the west and it hopefully means more time to allow a good port of the game, but anyways I guess they also didn't want the Switch version to cannibalise the 3DS version's sales.

Thatd bé a pretty Bad strategy for a new console beczuse now ps4/3ds will cannibalize most of thé sales.

But, at least right now to Square Enix the 3DS and PS4 are where the majority of the market is, so I see why they would do that. I do think the Switch version is gonna be badly affected by this, but one or the other was gonna be badly affected by whatever situation it ended up being. In fact releasing the Switch version might of ended up badly affecting both the PS4 and 3DS version since it's basically a combination of both games selling points, the portable capabilites of the 3DS version and the better graphic style of the PS4 version.
