Forums - Politics Discussion - Students beat classmate to death screaming Allahu Akbar (New graphic video)

Oi, they really need to learn to take criticism. Not everyone is going to give a shit about their magic sky daddy and may even say negative things about it. Doesnt mean you kill them

It was not about that he insulted Prophet or anything, it was just University had organized Q&A of sorts over islamic issue and this guy was sufi muslim which is a minority community in pakistan who believes everyone has right to practice their own religion... he just asked many question during the Q&A, about why there were so many different views of islam within islam and how can someone claim that their way of following islam is better than of that Shia or Sufi. This irked some local goons and they lynched him to death because nobody had answer to his question and uni didn't do much to stop it..

According to me this has nothing to do with Islam its just lack of proper education or better of word literacy, because at one side there was this Muslim who was liberal and other just plain mob mentality hiding behind the religion.

Really horrible and sadly present in most societies. In the west it occurs but rather that people are beaten to death for being gay, shot in a mass shooting for being black or beaten up just because they are white. Brainwashing in all societies', whether it's religious, racist or other is a result of low education and an anti-liberal view of society.

Please where at gay people beaten to death openly in any western country? Where are black people being shot for being black? Where are large numbers of whites being bashed? Ridiculously you would even compare the situations

In germany and sweeden, done by muslims.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

Hooligans or not, do you think is still sane to be able to hide behind blasphemy to do a brutal public killing? as long as they can hide behind muhamad and do awfull things with no questions asked, is still the religions fault.

That's goddamn brutal... If your initial reaction is to beat someone to death because he/she expressed a dissenting opinion about your religion, then I have no words...

Religion of peace instead. I don't like most religions because they are religions but I hate Islam because it's not cohesive with people of different beliefs and it doesn't handle criticism well. It's why the middle east doesn't get along with others. If it was more like buddhism, no one would have any problems with it.

So... I guess Universities in Pakistan literally need safe spaces.

Well, you must obviously not know about the Buddhists in Myanmar that murder and discriminate against the Muslim minority. Every religion has violent people, it's just that many Islamic countries are very poor, and don't have strong democratic/socialist/secular opposition, so that makes it much easier for them to give into radical Islamic beliefs.

How can u ignore the fact that there are many more muslims around the world who are more liberal than these people, but u choose to generalize a religion based on the mentality of few extrimist minority and ignore the large number of those muslim and the message they wanna spread, are you oblivious to the fact that religion for these people is just mere catalyst for their barbaric mentality, just remove islam from the equation and put a different religion or belief it wont change their backward culture and the way they have been brought up.

Islam's followers are so full of hate, and so violent.
Its hard not to think the problem is the religion.
