SuperData: Nintendo sells 2.4 million Switch consoles worldwide in first month, above original forecast

Now we wait for official numbers from Nintendo.

How would this stack up with other consoles? Though even without knowing, that would be an impressive number to achieve!

This would be amazing if true

Could bem right ir could be wrong.

But considering their history I would say TGA VGChartz has better credibility.

It looks like a guess work.

This the same superdata that predicted that the switch would sell 5 million in all of 2017?

Looks like Nintendo did manage to bump up launch month shipments from 2 million to 2.5 million, but even that wasn't a big enough increase, still see nothing but sold out on websites.

They raised it to 7.2 million now. Still too low.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Whether it sold that much or not... I won't believe anything coming from Superdata

I have no idea how credible this firm is but i trust their sources: "SuperData noted that it collaborated with market researcher Gfk and the Japanese gaming publication Famitsu to come up with the figure."

And from what i have read from the launch in other countries, i have no doubt the numbers are that good and that demand is there.

Just a little side note: here in Portugal (aka Sonyland) it sold more in it's opening weekend than any other Nintendo console.
Believe me, it's that big of a feat!

I think they will again raise their expectations from 7.2m. :)
