Daisey Ridley is saying from people who have seen the rough cut this movie is "very different".

I dunno if that's good or bad. JJ Abrams said this too, VIII is a very different film. People expecting Empire 2.0 might be wrong.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Well Empires is different from A New Hope so I think it'll be Empires 2.0.

Had to watch the trailer a few times. Did anyone catch Obi Wans whispering seduced by the dark side?

My theory is there will be a huge attack on the rebels, almost wiping them all out including Leia. Rey will turn dark because she may find out she is the daughter of Solo & Leia, but with the whole female Heroin thing, leave it open ended for episode 9 so she can become good.

FIN after being healed from almost losing his back will join a whole bunch of other Storm Troopers and Empire guys who have deflected and these lot will become kind of the saving grace against the empire.

Kylo will turn good due to the guilt of killing his mom and dad, and Luke literally knocking some sense into him. The final battle will be Kylo against Rey, with Kylo trying to bring her back from the dark, where Luke might do a Kenobi and allow himself to be killed.

Also, still holding out for FIN to be the awakening in the force as a descendent of Mace Windu.

Really enjoyed that. Looking forward to its release.
Seems the Last Jedi statment from Luke means by putting an end to the Jedi you will also put an end to the Sith. Consider every time you train new Jedi's, one will become evil. Anakin destroyed the galaxy for that very reason and now Kyle Ren who turned on Luke in Jedi training. They all would not have existed if the Jedi training program didnt exist.
I can see why Luke wants to end the Jedi. Its done nothing but damage the galaxy. But was an amazing story. Can't wait to find out for real.

Not really sure that's accurate though.

Whoever the 1st Jedi/Sith were didn't have a training programme to teach them how to use the force, yet they still figured it out. I expect anyone born strong enough in the force would be able to get bits and pieces even without training, if they then realised what their power was then they should be able to learn more just by themselves. And when they've got that power... some of them are going to go dark side.

Its just my view on it. I see the Jedi/Sith like the Ying Yang Coin. One cant exist without the other. Due to there being Jedi's will always breed Sith's. If there are Sith's than there will be Jedi's. Maybe Luke has worked it all out.

Either way i am excited for the new movie. I really hope we see Luke in action and not die a death similar to Han Solo.

My understanding from what Lucas has said is the Dark Side actually should not exist. The Dark Side is a perversion of the Force. Think of a lake which is serene, calm, but you throw a rock into it and it causes ripples ... the ripples are the Dark Side.

So "balance of the Force" I believe is the complete destruction of all Sith as it restores natural harmony to the Force which is supposed to be all light.

I think it means balance.

If you are playing Knights of the Old Republic, of course it be stupid not to get force lighting.
