Dunno, him saying that the Jedi must end at the end of the trailer hints it might be a little more complicated then that.

Luke is the Jedi avaliable to train Ray, so there is no other way. But I don't think it will be another remake

Hype!

It looks like some kind of powerful organisation is striking back at someone while some person is getting trained.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Yeah. From the little I have seen in the trailer, it might suggest that either:

a) There will be dark lords of the force such as the Sith as long as the Jedi exist; or

b) Palpatine was correct (of sorts) on implying both sides must be known and understood (when Rey mentions balance).

I just hope it doesn't boil down to some classic tale of dichotomy because those have been done to death.

I hope it brings a twist or a new take.

Yeah I think so they always talk about the dark and the light and trying to balance the force... just go gray xD.

I think whatever happened to luke (Kylo Ren going dark) has made him a little bitter about the old Jedi Ways and Traditions, and he's decided the time of the Jedi has passed and things should be done differently instead of being tied down to the rules, regulations and ways of the Jedi of old.

I think so too, it makes sense he inherited his father's predisposition to be wary of the Jedi ways after all he has seen and done.

Hell, he wouldn't even have been born if it were up to the Jedi.
