Expected arms/Splatoon 2 got a lot more and it was quick so deserves an 8/10. And oh yeah Minecraft!!

But I wonder what if you have MC on WiiU also get it on switch or upgrade it for a small fee (Xbox/ps4 was 5 euro I think to upgrade?)

Just look to that picture of some of my stuff and guess why I gave it a10/10

5/10

Nothing too special, besides amiibo I guess, and as I feared, Splatoon 2 comes out while I'm on vacation, so bleh.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

8/10, They didn't show much on Arms and Splatoon for a direct that was supposed to be mainly about them, but otherwise was solid.

I say 8 as well. I love the professional format they have now. And although I miss Iwata, this guy Koizumi is it? He's likable. There was also a ton of content in this one. I'm sure E3 should prove more interesting. Anybody who expected Mario Odyssey, Animal Crossing, Smash, etc. doesn't understand timely game reveals.

the 3DS stuff i don't care about
the Switch quick-fire news section had nothing of real interest

ARMS - really like the look of the game, even though i am not usually into brawlers. i like the depth of the weapon system, how you can mix-and-match as you please, and i like the look of the new character. the overall character count is my main concern for longevity

Splatoon - i like a good horde mode, so this Salmon Run(?) is a nice addition. i just hope it isn't half-arsed, as it looked a bit basic, although fun. perhaps it is something they will add new maps to and more enemy variety to over time, which I would be fine with (as long as those updates were free)

Overall, 7/10. Wasn't expecting anything new and really exciting, but the main point of the Direct was to make people more interested in Splatoon 2 and ARMS, and it did that. Splatoon 2 is a must buy, and ARMS is a buy when it is half-price for me right now, and I'm nearer to getting a Switch this year

Very pleased with what I saw today.

Presentation- interesting approach, definitely felt more streamlined, but I'm not sure I like that format. I think it can be refined, but I'm not holding anything against it

3DS - I'm debating purchasing one sole FE SoV, but yeah DLC. Not my thing, but we'll see.

ARMS - New stages, character, weapons, and modes. Loved. Every. Bit-of-it. I wish the release date were closer, but its expected

Sonic Forces - THAT isn't a hedgehog... So unless the lynx or whatever it is is also called Sonic, I better see some soap shoes down the line. Good for what was shown

Splatoon2 - Didn't see that coming. Very pleased by it. And THAT is good use of amiibo. Followed by bad use of the amiibo. Followed by good use again. Overall good.

Switch content: It was expected that not much new content would be discussed here, but I really like that they put Pay Day 2 and Fate into the mix. Did not see those coming, especially the former.

Overall: at least an 8. I want to give it a 9, but it needed a bit more of a push to get there content-wise.

I guess my final score is an 8.5

7/10 I didn't particularly like the rush of games but it delivered in showing that Splatoon 2 and ARMS have more content behind the curtains. I expected some gameplay from FE Warriors: it's too niche to bring at E3, that should be the place where they show a teaser for Fire Emblem 2018...

7-8/10

Wasted too much time during the Arms "eSports" commentary. Overall, it was great, specially the format (they talked about so much stuff in so little time), but I was personally not interested in most of the games.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

7-8/10 solid, some interesting games, really happy for Monster Hunter Stories, hope we get Nights of Azure 2 in the west (first one did so not so worried) and looking forward to Senran Kagura. Best news were the Kirby minigames tho and Goodbye Box Boy.

Also I'll probably ship Ribbon Girl with Min min, hoping they show more characters.
