Photorealism is an extremely realistic style of painting and drawing, in which the artwork is based entirely on a photograph.
Those are photographs ;)

My point is that so far games keep trying to emulate lens effects to make it look more photorealistic. Motion blur, bloom, depth of field, chromatic aberation, good old lensflare, hdr, dirty lens. While the human eye works quite different from a camera lens. Enough with trying to emulate photographs.
