Forums - Sony Discussion - Uncharted: The Lost Legacy launching August 22 (NA)/August 23 (Europe) - new trailer, $39.99/€39,99/£34.99

That price is kinda steep....... especially coming from The last of US left behind stand alone dlc that was only $10.

I wasn't expecting this to cost more than $30 max....... I want it, and was going to get it day one; but that price takes it out of impulse buy for me. Now I will wait for reviews and see if it at least 10hrs long.

Is it just me or am I the only one that gets excited for E3 when announcements like these show up before the conference. I see that to mean they hav other sttuff they have to show instead.

Yea, will wait for sale.

I sure did miss that ass since Uncharted 2.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Surprised it is coming so quickly. Likely check it out around the holidays.

I think it will still pop up at the conference, which some more action gameplay.  It's too big of a name not to be there

This is another marketing test

- expensive DLC on disc

Uncharted 5 will be selled in chapters.

Marketing test?

Expensions for games used to be sold via discs. That's nothing new.

The Last of Us Left Behind was 2 hours long. The Lost Legacy is over 10 hours long...

i honestly think they had a plan but while executing it, they went over board because i don't think this was meant to come out over a year later, so now they have to price it accordingly. i got the U4 special edition so i have this on the bag already.

Day 1 for me.

When it hits 15 bucks

This made me laugh :)

@OP: my excitement over Lost Legacy revolves around whether it plays like the first three quarters of Uncharted 4 — large portions of which were on auto-pilot — or the final quarter, which was heavy on tactical gunplay. I really hope scripted sequences and cut-scenes are kept to a minimum, so the majority of those 10 hours can be spent sneaking around, conjuring up clever ways to outflank enemies, and, in general, improvising on the battlefield.

Also, getting The Precursor Legacy (one of my favorite PS2 games) as a pre-order bonus is pretty sweet :)

You are still expecting an uncharted game right? The franchise lives and dies on its scripted sequences and cutscenes....
