So why should we already move on if we still have many fun games to play on the Vita?

I can't play the Lucas-Arts-Remastered adventures (Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle, Grim Fandango), Stein's Gate + Stein's Gate 0, Zero Escape 1 - 3, Danganronpa 1 - 3 + Another Episode, Root Letter, Shantae: Half Genie Hero, Severed, Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni, the Atelier games and many others on the Switch, or can I?

No, you can play them on 3DS, PS4 and other consoles.

PS4 and other home consoles aren't an option if I want to play these games outside home.

And most of the (few) multiplatform games that are on 3DS and Vita are gimped on 3DS.

You said it well... that's why it's a niche system with lackluster support: it only serves to the purpose of people that want to play average games on the go. I wouldn't say getting a bunch of indies and inferior ports of japanese games is having a good support, or being alive. It's more like a zombie state. It's different than PS4, for example, which is getting the top quality japanese games.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Dead was just the word  I was looking for for a platform that still has around 20 confirmed titles for release just in the US for the rest of this year.

My local Best Buy doesn't have any vita anything anymore. Cases, memory cards, games, nothing. Not sure about other locations or stores.

Touchy subject for people on this site...

It's not a console I would recommend to anyone unless I knew their taste but I've loved it. I've easily got over 200 games for the Vita.

You can't find the Vita on store shelves in most places in the US now, yet games are still being localized because enough Vita owners still buy games for it. Why are these people needing to move on again?

Yeah no it isn't. Infact it is STILL getting games.

It's dead. Wii U is still getting games too.

Thanks to Henkaku the Vita is more alive than ever before imo.

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

Don't hurt the people who still live in their own little Vita world, like Kresnik. That's just cruel.
