Forums - General Discussion - 59 tomahawk missiles launched in Syria

So, the Syrian government did horrible things by killing people, so the solution is to bomb the country and kill more people?

Even more: the syrian government, the IS, Al-Kaida and hundreds of militia groups did despicable things (and they are all guilty of cruelty at one place or another) and the solution is to go there and bomb more. This will help.

Great job americans, you are worse than Nazis.

9 civilians (assuming we can actually believe anything coming from the Syrian gov't) is a drop in the bucket compared to the thousands that were droned to death during the previous 8 years of the Obama administration.... and he was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize in the proccess.

And worse than the Nazis, really?  So the Nazis only killed 8 Jews then?  Wow... that whole "Holocaust" thing really WAS just a Zionist myth!

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

That was not the first attack during Trump's presidency, nor will it be his last, so it's not like Trump just killed 9 people.

1) it's far to criticize the nazi comment. Definitely exaggerated

2) two rights don't make a wrong. If Trump suddenly killed 500 Yemenis, you can't just say "well Odumba killed thousands" and drop it at that.

It's unfortunate to see ourselves constantly killing thousands and creating havoc for everyone else (especially Europe) for selfish reasons. Is Obama on the right? No, but it seems like Trump doesn't want to become any better.

It may be an exaggeration to compare the Nazis to the Americans, mainly due to the sheer number of people that were slaughtered in such a short span, but the United States over its history has probably killed a lot more people.

I thought this was a interesting cartoon and wanted to share

I always try to show the truth when the Syria War topic comes out, I had been following this war since the Arab Spring, and its really sad that Syria is been destroyed by the US and they cause IS to growth by suppling them when they were "free syrian army"

Won't be surprised if Trump Nukes the Middle east.

The point is many who cry murder never really cared about those things happening  under Obama and only do as Trump is now in charge.

These people do not care about people or geopolitical events, they care about short term politics.

Uhh, yeah, I did care when Obama did it.

...what? Who's "many", and why should we care about the public?

All of Obama's actions were reported online like anyone. I don't care if people praise Obama or praise Trump- these are terrible actions.

I don't need social media to judge things (I don't even have any). I look online, see what's up, research situations, and discusd it on places I think are appropriate. Nowhere in here did I make an opinion because group X did this or that.

Are people hypocrites? Yes, those defending obama and bashing trump are hypocritical, but it's irrelevant to the situation.
