That's actually also what I remembered but looking on his profile there's a user who claims to have been his friend and said it was suicide.

I think he means the first.
Ive never payed attention to this matter, but you know, there are many very active users on this site, and I can (as of now) recognize or recall many of their avatars/usernames, so Itll be nice to know if someone passes away. I think Ill have a Will where I actually ask for someone to come here and post if I died just so others knows Xp

I have asked myself the same a few times. Not counting alts probably 1% off all accounts. Well you have to add people like KLXVER and me...

At the terminal stage when they don't try to cure you anymore, you're in a hospital until you're a little better, then get sent home until you get worse again. Basically both of you can be correct; he might have killed himself after getting home from an extended treatment period.

The percentage shouldn't be too high, gamers are generally getting older but its still unlikely to find A LOT of people of over the age of 50 on a forum like this so generally there won't be a lot of people dying of natural causes.
Now accidents do happen and people can get diseases on lower ages but I would be its 1% or lower for now, that will rise quite a lot in the next 10 years though since there are less new users and more inactive users and those inactive users spent less time typing behind their pc / phone and more time outside.
