I picked up the game at a local store so I wouldn't have to wait for Amazon drop off. Excited to get home from work and throw it in!

I was planning to start with Nier but since it's too heavy -and probably more serious- on lore and narrative, I don't want my excitment for Persona 5 to make me rush through it and ultimately kill immersion. As far as my experience for Persona and Yoko Taro's games goes, I would say both are as heavy.
Overall, Persona as more "dark" themes, while Yoko Taro goes further on these themes. Nier should be easier (psychologically) in the beginning and harder on the end, while Persona games usually have a better ending; for the story at least.
