Forums - Gaming Discussion - I need your advice: I love a girl but she doesn't play video games

You really shouldn't let videoGames get in the way of potential relationships. You have to work around the VideoGame hobby. If you love her (like you say you do) then what's the problem? You've hit the highest emotion you can feel for her. Stop thinking about videoGames as being an important factor because all they're doing is halting you.

Introduce her to Persona 5. Trust me, it'll make a gamer out of her.

CPU: Ryzen 7950X
GPU: MSI 4090 SUPRIM X 24G
Motherboard: MSI MEG X670E GODLIKE
RAM: CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM 32GB DDR5
SSD: Kingston FURY Renegade 4TB
Gaming Console: PLAYSTATION 5

I met my fiancé on playstation home in 2009. She's probably a better gamer than me. She's played all the bioshocks, resident evils, silent hills, most assassins creeds, all the gtas since 3, dying light, FFXV, bayonetta, and countless more over the years.

We couldn't be happier. We're both 34. And she's playing watch dogs 2 as I type this.

My ex wife hated games and hated me playing them. I felt like I couldn't do anything with her. It was all about her and what she wanted. Don't get trapped with someone like that.

There is only one interest you need to share, if you know what I mean

“Simple minds have always confused great honesty with great rudeness.” - Sherlock Holmes, Elementary (2013).

"Did you guys expected some actual rational fact-based reasoning? ...you should already know I'm all about BS and fraudulence." - FunFan, VGchartz (2016)

That is so awesome. I was starting to think I was searching for a unicorn. Really happy for you right now. Thanks for giving me hope.

Sure, it is good that you guys are not into all the same stuff, it create much needed buffer zones, your stuff, your interests, go for it.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

None of my long term relationships have been with people who shared my primary hobbies. Opposites do attract and part of being in a relationship is finding someone who balances you out as a person by being everything you're not.

Having someone I could play mariokart with or jam and talk music with would be nice bonus but I wouldn't want to leave a good relationship over such matters. Helps if you have friends to share hobbies with.

It feels like there is sth. missing in the title. Like:

I need your advise: I love a girl but she doesn't play video games...

...and i fear she wont be able to tell me the right buttons to push to turn her on.

...and i'm afraid she will refuse if i ask her to wear the skin tight Zero Suit the first time we have sex.

Hunting Season is done...

Haha crotchless zero suit. I reckon I could sell those.

Game Over..
I tend to not mention i game to woman unless they bring it up first. What they dont know wont kill them.
I normally end up telling people who are put off by Gamers is "Fine ill stop playing Video games and go out and do drugs, get stabbed, flirt and cheat and gamble my life away" or i can play Video games.
Its alot easier these days since gaming is alot common now with the growth of the industry. In the 80s and 90s you would be generalized alot more and put in the Nerd, Geek, Loser brackets if you were a hardcore gamer. Im sure she wont care aslong as your not addicted like i was on WoW for years.
