Glad to see I'm not the only one who had trouble with Thunderblight Ganon. That guy's an arsehole.

Just beat Flameblight Ganon and reached/activated the Akala Tech Lab today. I was carrying the torch with the blue flame up the final hill and a Moblin started chasing me. I ran through some bushes, and my torch accidentally set them on fire, and cos there was a wind the fire spread and cooked my pursuer alive.

So the first memory I was going for happened to be the east Lanaryu Gate. Since I consider link a mountain man I came over from the mountain area. So I reach and I see this Lynel down there... I had no idea what it was how strong it was or anything of the sort so decided to be a smart ass and drop some bombs. Not bomb + just bombs. It did nothing and he recognized me so I hopped down and started to fight him. I broke around 3 swords and realized that he wasn't taking much of any damage so I decided to run. I ran around up the mountain and I saw him pull out his bow. I was like "I'm far up the mountain how the hell can he still see me?" I keep moving and then an ice arrow almost hits me. I was like wow. He does it again I get hit but I live so I head way up the mountain finally out of his range. confirm that he was back to his spot, put on the stealth armour and collected the memory.

Also, my first Combat Trial was a Moderate Test of Strength, having only 3 hearts. Yeah, it was rough. I kid you not, I'm sure I saw the Game Over Screen about 20+ times, but I never gave up. It only took ALL of my weapons, my arrows, some bows and 2 shields, with some help of the Bomb rune to finally take that mofo down. It dropped good weapons for my time in the game. It didn't feel worth it for all the stuff I had to waste, but man, did it feel good? Yes, it did.

That one south of Hateno Tech Lab? That was my first one too lol.

I tried, got maybe like 5 game overs, and just gave up. I think it's the only shrine I actually left to finish later, all the other ones I always managed to come through on the first go.

I did the same thing. I was like: This is the first time I encountered this type of shrine. They really should of made it the first teir strength. I did defeat it. Once I had like 8 hearts. The Major ones, I haven't bothered with them. They aren't hard. IJust boring tediousness. I rather move the ball key around the spirial sand area. That uncovers that shrine. It's because you break your weapons. If you didn't, I'd do the match for 5-10 minutes. I'll just wait till I complete the game. And find the most abusive way, to kill them. Without the Guardian arrows.

My story: I played it so much I pissed off my wife and forgot my priorities. I'm back to my normal self, now.

You fucking genius!

I pushed it onto a metal block and lifted the block to the end. It was still frustrating because the ice was so slippery!

That was a really cool idea. Like that guy who used a tree and statis to reach the Master Sword. There was this shrine, that had all the falling boulders. I simply froze one at a time. Till I got them to stop falling off. If they don't fall into the lava. They don't respawn. So i was free to go up the ramps, whenever I wanted.

Killed my first guardian yesterday, and holy crap, after dozens of hours of turning tail whenever I encountered them, taking one out in a single hit made me feel so badass.

Yup, ancient arrows don't mess around!

Signature goes here!

The first time I realized this game was truly special was during a thunder storm.

Basically, I'd climbed quite high when it started raining and was stuck on this platform about 10 yards from an area with moblins and mobokins. I only had metal armor/weapons, so I literally had to take everything off and was just stuck there unsure of what to do as these enemies saw me and, while unable to reach me, were throwing things at me and shooting. I then noticed that rain had caused their area to flood, and I got an idea that seemed far fetched but worth a shot...

I dropped one of my metal swords, used magnesis, and put it right between them. The lightning began striking it, spreading through the water thereafter and hitting everyone, and soon all of them were dead without me ever putting any equipment on lol

Well, but I guess that, at this point, everyone has reached the Flowery Shrine Quest. How well did you fare? LOL. That's some crazy bitch, i honestly want to burn her along with her flowers. Eventide is a story of it's own.
