Doesn't look very good and I see Tom Cruise is still always staring at something like every film. Trailer shows the whole movie. Why do trailers do this these days?

Eh, I dont know about that, theres common elements, yes, but the trailer doesnt sell me at all on the comedy, and Uncharted needs to be a comedy more than anything else. Plus the characters have very different personalities and such.

Looks like mindless fun just like uncharted. A video game movie is not going to be better than this, we should accept that fact and wish for something like this (at least)

I'm not going to lie, I think Tom Cruise would make a good Nathan Drake.

Tru dat. Best game movie adaptaion (IMO) was Silent Hill... even tho I love this franchise to my bones, it was a really really good movie, and yet, for me its the best adaptation there is.

But yeah, Uncharted is Fast action satisfaction, just like these tom cruise's movies. Not much to think so much to shoot.

Trailer looked really good but I kept thinking how damn young Tom Cruise looks. He's OLDER than Russel Crowe.

Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if movies like these borrow elements from the Uncharted games. I thought I read somewhere that the Airplane stunt in the last Mission Impossible took inspiration from Uncharted 3. And of course, the Uncharted games take inspiration from action films. It went full circle!

The story doesn't look very good and the action is comparable, so you might be on to something. The only difference is The Mummy has Jake Johnson so it might actually be funny.
