Forums - Gaming Discussion - In 6 months the definitive version of EVERY multiplat console game will be back on Xbox.

In 6 months or so the definitive version of EVERY third party game will be back home on Xbox Scorpio.

Microsoft will have the edge in frame-rate AND resolution (maybe more) on games like RDR2, SWBF 2, the new Battlefield, the next CoD, Destiny 2, etc.

I'm excited to be able to play these games at a NATIVE 4K without any compromises in resolution or quality on a console.

I'll keep my PS4 Pro for the games like TLoU 2 (if it isn't delayed until PS5) but if PSNow starts offering new AAA exclusives on PC in the near future I'll probably dump the Pro for a few new games and a subscription instead.

I would much rather have the hundreds of third party game released every year look substantially better on my console than have a dozen great exclusive released over the course of a whole generation.

I like what Xbox is doing and plan on fully supporting them with an Xbox Scorpio to compliment my gaming PC come November.

How about you?  Are you excited to have the best 3rd party support back on Xbox?

Good luck with that, because I doubt the Scorpio is going to meet those expectations. The majority of third party titles will be sub-4k, never mind the compromises in other areas.

is like some Wii U fans thinking every 3rd party game would be better on it?

Why would you get a Scorpio if you already have a gaming PC? Is you system outdated or something?

Most of my friends still game on Xbox One but I never bought one because I think it's an anemic piece of junk.

It'll have the power, that's for sure. But will third parties want to risk upsetting the market leader?

Yeah...no

I'm pretty sure the GTX 1070 barely manages to push out 4k 30...not even sure if GTX 1080 can hit rock solid 4k 60 fps

Look, it's not gonna be 4k. I can see it on simpler games, but expecting the scorpio to do so much is ridiculous.

If it's 400-500, do you really think people will care about it? I'm sure Sony will push out a 299-349 PS4 Pro. Chances are no one wants to pay 500 dollars if they can get a console that can also produce 4k and has a better selection of titles.

Why would people get scorpio just a small update on graphics?I think people give too much importance for graphics and such, and the majority of players, hardcore included, is less and less interested in these power jumps, because they are not significant anymore.

Personally, unless Scorpio turns out to be anew generation(joining Switch on the 9th generation), I wont be interested at all

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I doubt developers wouldn't use the Scorpio's additional power to appease Sony. But equally there won't be many throwing everything they have at the Scorpio release, in my opinion it'll essentially boil down to (1440p on Pro : 1800p on Scorpio) and (1600/1800p on Pro : Native 4k on Scorpio) and that'll essentially be the difference between the two.

PS4 will likely continue to recieve more exclusive content in third-party titles, have more third-party marketing deals and all-in-all be pretty happy about it all. They won't hold anything against developers making higher resolution versions for Scorpio, because third-party developers will still be in bed with the market leader, PlayStation.
