I have about three. I'm afraid to use them. No idea what they are for.

Don't remember all uses  but you need them to upgrade the ancient armor set you need 3 one for each piece in their last upgrade, beside watching out for them  in the sky , one can be found in a chest in the water at the hyrule castle docks and also by feeding dogs at  snowfield stable and lurelin village , iirc talking to the woman at riverside stable when you have the master sword gets you one and I may have picked one up from a shrine .

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

I have 3 2 from chest 1 form side quest.

never used them yet.

saw them falling 5 times and saw just the beam of light 2 more.

2/3 of mine i got from NPCs. One, I think, came from a treasure chest. I'll start looking for them more actively, now.

Not sure I even have any shooting stars, but will keep my eyes peeled for them now.

I only got a few and sold them, what can you get if you cook them ?

THey don't cook anythign special, they do the same as the dragon scales. GIves you a critical when cooking.

A critical when cooking gives one of a few various stats, such as more hearts healing, longer duration of effect, ect.

So not worth wasting such a precious resource on cooking. Much easier to get a crit cooking. Cook like 11:30 or something when blood moon is in sky until cutscene. Guaranteed crits. Soon as you see a blood moon, rush to a cooking pot and cook as much as you can.

On Switch you can see it in your profile after 10 days since you first played the game, but it only works if the profile is linked to a Nintendo account.

I played without using fast travel, it took 170+ hours with all shrines, 350+ Korok seeds and lvl 4 gear. I didn't upgrade everything though and still had a bunch of run back and forth sidequests left.

I wkill check when I get home =). I have gone through 79 shrines so far, but only about 65 koroks and I haven´t upgraded anything beyond lvl 2, but I´m on the search for the last fairy fountain. I´m in no hurry to finish the game though =).
