Yes you're correct, I was confusing his grandfather with his father

Not to mention not all members are frontline soldiers. Could have been a really old general or something.

Its a real photo. The guy just happens to look similar to phil spencer, so maybe it actually is his grandfather? Wouldn't that be an interesting turn of events...

One of my grandpas fought in WW2, the other fought in WW1...yes, there was quite an age difference between the two, ha. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Phil's grandpa did fight in WW2, a lot of our grandpas did :)
