I have owned an S6 and S7 Edge. The infinity screen and edge design on S8+ is really cool, but there are some things I don't like about it and Samsung in general.

- The fingerprint sensor on S8 is in a stupid place.
- Samsung is taking too long to upgrade Android versions.
- Samsung is doing their own assistant instead of using Googles, and their Gear watches don't run Android Wear, so no Google assistant there either. They have great hardware that doesn't really fit best into the Android ecosystem.

Long story short, I expect a lot of similar looking phones this year and I will probably wait to see the next Pixel device since that will have the best software support.  There's also a cool looking device from the former boss of Android: https://t.co/LRzQCFSKTm.

Wanted to get one but holy shit. It's terrible enough that SD 835 fails to be anything significant like 820. I'm so pissed that NA carriers doesn't get Exynos.

I think phones have pretty much peaked at this point. On modern smart phones most cameras look great and they can use all apps. You would have to be a real techie to care.
On Topic: The S8 does look great though I think i'll just stick to my i6. lol
