Forums - Gaming Discussion - Lego City Undercover Re-Buying?

Lego City Undercover will be released very soon on various platforms including the Switch.

For everyone who already played the game on WII U, will you re-buy it on a different platform?

I'm still on the fence, though. It's a great game nonetheless and I havn't unlocked everything. The loading times on the WII U are a real pain.

And having nothing else to release on the Switch, I would like to get the game and play on the go. But, I dunno....

What about you guys?

Fortunately I haven't bought it yet, so I'm looking forward to it :)

This. It'one of the few Switch games coming that I don't actually own on WiiU already.

It will be fun to play in co-op. Depends on price though, is it just a straight port or is there any new content since the original WiiU release?

Price is at 60€...

New content... well... coop mode and new vehicles?

My little brother spended over 300 hours on it on the Wii U. I think he would love to rebuy this and Minecraft on the Switch for that portability.

But I won't tell him because I want to bring the Switch to uni xD

Pocky Lover Boy!

Never actually got it on Wii U, so I'm definitely interested in it. Not paying full price though, will get it cheaper down the line =P

I'll buy it again. I was actually playing it on the WiiU and stopped when I found out it was coming out on PC. It's a good game, but the performance was... not the best on the WiiU. I could live with 720p, but the framerate always seemed very low to me. It didn't really feel like it was even managing to hit 30fps. I don't even want to discuss the loading times.....
The annoying thing is that it's a really good game outside the technical issues.

I never played the WiiU version just the 3DS version. I might get the PS4 version later on when it srops under 20 euros or so...

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Probably not. Got the first mostly for my daughter and she's much older, now. Plus I'm not really in the mood for an open world game after Zelda.
