Basically Republicans want to allow ISPs to sell your internet browsing history to the highest bidder. 

Now there is growing backlash from the public and people want the Republican senators who voted for this motion to have their internet browsing history available to the entire public. 

I don't see how anyone could defend this. Then again, they have defended the destruction of the environment, so who knows. Maybe this will affect them more and they will give a damn the same way the gave a damn when they heard about dick pics?

At this point, nothing would surprise me.

If anybody had concerns about this then they should be their own damn ISPs or find some other ISP who cares enough ...

I very well know the ramifications of relying on an outsider party's infrastructure so I know what I'm getting into when I'm buying Windows, Intel CPUs, or just about any other consumer electronics ...

They want to kill cheap internet access and allow ISPs to more freely impose data caps.

If you wanna apply to a company, then they can buy your files and check what kind of sites you were visiting and decide if you get a job or not.
