Are you actually using mark Dice?

Geez, I thought people wouldn't be dumb enough to use Dice, Infowars, Buzzfeed, or any other shit like that.

I tend to be of the opinion that Mark Dice is an idiot, but the second video (intentionally or not) does actually present an interesting point. Cherry picking was likley involved, but it's true that if you associate an idea with something a person likes or agrees with, you can get that agreement to extend to stuff they don't understand or would otherwise actively oppose.

We've seen the same thing with Obamacare vs ACA. Despite being the same thing, the former's association with Obama drives a lot more opposition than when it's unqualified.

Edit: First video, not second.

Ugh. Leftists make me cringe more and more every day.

Let uis clear about one thing: these people destroying art aren't leftist. These are typical assholes that label themselfes left. It would be the same if I label myself rich, genius or athlete. It is just wrong labeling.

The OK-ness of people profiting from historical misery inflicted on a whole population of people all depends on context. It's more likely to be morally OK if it's African Americans profiting because they are likely the decendants of those who actually suffered, so there is some poetic justice in the decendants of slaves profiting off the story of their forebears. But in general, it's kind of dodgy to be profiting off anyone's misery, be it contemporaneous or historic.

I don't think it's right for someone to profit from someone else's suffering without permission, regardless of skin color.

That's a good principle. But who's permission do you get when the people are dead, or the suffering was is by a whole populace, or the story is fiction but it's about suffering that happened for real?

I can't get my head around what I'm looking at. It sort of looks like a sheep with a orange coat eating a white shirt. It's like drawing a picture of green circle with a rectangular cloud above and saying it represents the apartheid of South Africa's past. It's really just useless people trying to create meaning where it doesn't belong. A type of insanity.

You shouldn't need permission to exercise your free speech right.

Well with videos like this, i'm not certain of that common sense will prevail.

That guys a prick. Clearly going for idiots who don't know what they're talking about to prop up his shitty political beliefs.

Why would it be dumb to use Dice? He uses the same tactics as the Daily show to point out the idiocy of the opposite political spectrum and it's quite amusing. It also goes to show how moronic a lot of Californians are. It's like the liberal Alabama.

Its just a video i watched a few week/months ago that came to mind.

But they aren't substantive in any way. Nothing he does is.

Explain how they are not substantive?  Instead of using ad-hominem like "batshit insane", refute with an actual intelligent argument.

" Rebellion Against Tyrants Is Obedience To God"

Someone should inform them that there are no "natural" rights, only rights the we as society has deemed fundamental to people. That said, these kinds of anti-liberal forces do exist on bot the left and the right and we can only they get limited influence on policy making.

Honestly, I'm getting pretty sick of people saying and accepting what other people say "should not be allowed".
We live in a time where everything is taken way too seriously.
Just because people say "the painting has to go" it doesn't mean it has to go. That's just an opinion. I miss the days where words were wind and people brushed this kind of thing off. The painting exists. It IS. The fact someone or even a group doesn't like it doesn't mean squat. This isn't a race thing, this is an issue of taking everyone's feelings way too seriously.

You can't make everyone happy.
